Lee--Kathleen M. Erecacho,84, of 45 Via Bondi in Lee, died Monday at the Laurel Lake Center in Lee.
She was born in Chicago, ILL on March 19, 1927 the daughter of Patrick and Catherine McDonnell Brown.
She moved to Springfield as a child and was a 1944 graduate if Sacred Heart High School. She was a member of the John Boyle O'Relly Club the Hobby Club of Springfield, and the Women's Auxiliary of the Moose Lodge in Westfield. She spent many years a volunteer for the Council on Aging in Springfield. She moved to Lee in 2007 to make her home with her daughter Kathleen M. Bigos.
Her husband Joseph Erecacho whom she married Feb.22, 1957 died April 17, 1993. Besides her daughter in Lee, she leaves her sons Joseph R. Erecacho of Vancouver, WA, Sean P. Erecacho of Boston; her two other daughters Maria C. Metz of Chicopee, Mary L. Lusa-Sturges of Londonderry, NH and her brother John J. Brown of Arizona. She also leaves seven grandchildren and one great grandchild. She was predeceased by her brother Thomas P. and her twin sisters Noreen Vallee, Evelyn Marchese, and Mary Hanke. A Memorial Mass will be held Wednesday morning Apr.13th at 10am at Sacred Heart Church in Springfield
