Richard O'Connell, of Derrynane, this county, was killed by a kick from an unmanageable horse he was leading to water last night. He had held office in this county, and was quite well known and highly respected. Two years ago he held the office of commissioner, and he has also served in the legislature as representative of this county. He was fifty-nine years of age. The funeral will be held to-morrow.
