CARPENTER Laurence., 89, of Saddle Brook, formerly of Moynalty, County Meath, Ireland passed away on July 3, 2010. Before his retirement in 1984 he was a linesmen for 30 years at AT & T in the Bronx, NY. He was a parishioner at St. Philip the Apostle RC Church in Saddle Brook, NJ. He was a member of the Holy Name Society of St. Philip. Dear husband of Maureen (nee Cronin). Beloved father of Patrick Carpenter of Jersey City, Bill Carpenter of Hackensack, Margaret Mirabella and her husband Vagn of East Brunswick, Eugene Carpenter and his wife Tina of North Haledon, Kathleen Carpenter of Bayonne. Beloved grandfather of Stephanie Mirabella. Dear brother of the late Margaret Lyons, Mae Carpenter, Hugh Carpenter and Dorothy Collins.Funeral service 9 AM on Tuesday at the Vander Plaat Memorial Home, S-113 Farview Avenue, Paramus, and 9:30 AM. Mass at St. Philip the Apostle RC Church, Saddle Brook. Interment George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus. Family will receive friends on Monday 2-4, 7-9 PM.In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Orphanage of Sri Lanka c/o Rev. Matthew L.
