Pioneer Resident, 77 Died Friday. Shea Rites Set for Monday. Funeral services for Mrs. Thomas Shea, 77, 402 Second Avenue East, a resident of Williston for nearly 60 years, will be Monday, August 25, at 9 A. M. at St. Joseph's Catholic church, with burial in St. Joseph's cemetary. Elizabeth Brown was born October 15, 1874, in Kerry County, Ireland; and came to the United States in 1881 with her parents who settled on a farm near St. Thomas. She went west with members of her family who worked on the railroad. There she met Thomas Shea. They were married and lived in and around williston. They homesteaded on a ranch. Later, they lived in Williston. Mrs. Shea was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic church, the Catholic Daughters and St. Mary's Altar Band. One son William Shea, of Minneapolis; three daughters, Mrs. J. M. Donahue (Bridgie) and Miss Margaret Shea, both of Williston, Mrs. R. C. Gilmer (Katherine) of Belmont, Mass. Another daughter, Mayme,died earlier. Two grandchildren and two great grandchildren also survive.
